About the Cabin
The Fey Chalet in Big Bear is a one bedroom/one bath cabin of about 600 square feet. With a queen sized bed in the bedroom and two full size futons in the main room it comfortably sleeps six and is ideal for a family.  Located in Sugarloaf, on the slope of the mountain, it is convenient to all of the surrounding attractions from the stables at Lake Baldwin, to the Lake, to the Slopes. The best place to be through all four seasons.

A Family Vacation all by itself

The Fey Chalet has two television sets, one in the great room one in the bedroom and a library of both DVDs and VHS tapes, as well as satellite service from DISH network. It has a three in one game table, that converts from a game table, to a card table, to bumper pool.  There are two chest end tables filled with games of all types, one dedicated to chess and its varients complete with a double chess board for Alice and four handed chess games.  Cook in the complete kitchen behind the bar, or dine outdoors on whatever you want to barbecue, under the umbrella over the picnic table. You'll also find a dart board, dice boxes on the bar for games and decision making, a wine rack and glasses, a croquet set, and a fireplace to just hang out around.

The Fey Chalet is owned by the Russell Family Trust, and the Russells are pretty much spread out, all over the world, with homes in London, Tokyo, Hawaii, Arizona. So when we can get together we make it a point to do things together and that is why the Fey Chalet is just bursting at the seams with things to do together as a family.
In the Middle of Everything Big Bear
Sugarloaf sits between the attractions of the dry lakes, Erwin and Baldwin, the ski slopes of Summit and Bear Mountain, and Big Bear Lake. Fish, hike, ski, boat, ride a horse, go off road, ride a zipline, and dozens of other activities minutes from the door. Big Bear is a premier four season resort, so something's happening whenever you show up to join in.
